 Baku Main Police Office is fully ready to ensure public order and security in the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan on November 7, the office told APA. The Baku police have ensured the security of the candidates and voters since the start of the election campaign. The candidates from Baku have held 295 meetings, no violation of law was recorded. In connection with the November 7 parliamentary elections, Baku Main Police Office has set up a special group. The group will ensure the maintenance of public order during the elections, control the legal rules and public safety, delivery of reports to the Alert Force of the Interior Ministry and Main Office. Moreover, in accordance with the Action Plan confirmed at the Main Office on October 11, Baku police will ensure public order and safety of voters in 886 polling stations at 29 constituencies. The election commissions of the four occupied regions will operate in the capital and so the number of the constituencies will reach 33 (953 polling stations). Responsible employees of Baku Main Police Office have been attached to the district police offices to strengthen the control over public order, legal rules and public safety at the constituencies and polling stations. The responsible employees will contact the special group of Baku Main Police Office every two hours, or immediately in case of incident, help the leadership of the Main Office to organize the fulfillment of the functions of the staff of district police offices during the elections.
