 Some 4846 million voter lists have been defined to participate in the elections to the Azerbaijani Parliament, Natig Mammadov, the Central Election Commission's secretary said today at a press conference. "According to the law requirements, regardless of election year, inclusion of voters in voter list must be always defined. Azerbaijan has started publishing voter lists from today. They must be hanged in front of polling stations from Oct.3," Mammadov added. He said that voters can include their names in voter lists including the election day. "Internet resources are used to define voter list and defining works are conducted in polling stations," Mammadov said. Elections to the Azerbaijani parliament are scheduled for Nov. 7 Previous legislative elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 electoral constituencies. Trend |
