 The CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (IPA) Council Secretariat will observe the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan. The election headquarters of the Baku branch of the Secretariat's International Institute for monitoring the development of democracy, parliamentary system and the electoral rights of citizens will begin observations on the organization and course of the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan Sept.10, the branch reported. The CIS IPA Council Baku branch will establish electoral headquarters in five regions of Azerbaijan, each of which will involve four experts. The experts will conduct long-term observation on the preparation, organization and conduct of the elections. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for Nov. 7.
