
Candidates run for October 15 presidential elections have to submit financial reports to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) within 10 days after official announcement of the election results, Head of CEC Legal Department Irada Hajiyeva told APA. The candidates have to show figures of incomes and expenditures of their election fund. The candidates gained more than 3 per cent of votes in the elections have to return not-spent part of the resources they received from the government budget within 30 days according to article 73.3 of the Electoral Code. The candidates gained less than 3 % of votes have to return the resources they received from the government budget within 10 days after the official announcement of the results. The candidate can return the money partly within 12 months if he takes obligation. /APA/
