Foreign Ministry of Czechia made a statement on the presidential elections held in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry’s press service told APA that the statement highly appreciated calm election process. “Foreign Ministry of Czechia welcomes Azerbaijani government institutions’ efforts to meet the international standards in the field of democratic elections and believes that great attention will be paid to eliminate the shortcomings pointed out in the joint statement of the observers of OSCE/ODIHR, Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and European Parliament,” the statement says.
Foreign Ministry of Czechia regards the notable improvement mentioned by the international observers as another important step towards the development of democracy and free society in Azerbaijan.
“Czechia’s Foreign Ministry attentively follows Azerbaijan’s political development, reforms and rapid economic growth, and is ready to deepen bilateral relations between the two countries,” the statement says.
Czechia Foreign Ministry is sure that the expansion of the effective mutual partnership will contribute to Azerbaijan’s development. /APA/
