Azerbaijani President to be inaugurated on 24 October
Azerbaijani President to be inaugurated on 24 OctoberThe Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will be inaugurated on 24 October.
The Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan upheld results of presidential election on 22 October.
According to the Article 103 of the Constitutional Court, the president is inaugurated within three days after the Constitutional Court officially announces results of presidential election.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan earns salary worth AZN 15,000 a month after he is inaugurated.
Official Baku has not invited heads and officials of foreign countries to the inauguration ceremony of President Ilham Aliyev.
“According to traditions in Azerbaijan, leaders and representatives of other countries are not invited to the inauguration ceremony,” Novruz Mammadov, high rank official of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration said to TrendNews.
High rank official of the Presidential Administration said Azerbaijan will observe this tradition in this inauguration ceremony as well. Representatives of many countries want to take part in inauguration ceremony. Even leaders of several countries want to attend inauguration ceremony and they have already expressed their willingness.
“Leaders or representatives of any country can take part in inauguration only at their own will,” Mammadov said.
Azerbaijani parliamentary session fixed for October 24 is postponed. “The session is postponed due to the Ilham Aliyev’s inauguration ceremony”, - Parliament informed TrendNews.
The next session will be held on October 28. /Trend/
