Two Azerbaijani opposition parties –National Unity Party of Unified Azerbaijan (NUPA) and National Front Party of Unified Azerbaijan (NFPUA), signed an agreement on cooperation.
The document envisages the cooperation during the presidential, parliamentary and municipal elections in Azerbaijan and joint participation to hold democratic elections, as well as to form legitimate authority in the country. The agreement is signed by the party chairmen Hajibaba Azimov and Gudrat Hasanguliyev in the news-centre of the Trend News company.
Under the agreement, NUPA will support Hasanguliyev’s candidature in the forthcoming presidential elections. If Hasanguliyev will win the elections, NUPA representatives will be represented in the presidential administration.
The parties will also nominate joint candidates in parliamentary and municipal elections. /Trend/
