Former presidential candidate Gulamhuseyn Alibeyli met the head of OSCE Observation Mission for presidential election in Azerbaijan Boris Frlec. G. Alibeyli informed APA that returns of presidential elections, election process, counting of votes and other issues were discussed at the meeting. The OSCE representative took interest in the post-election activity of the neutral candidate.

European Union made a statement on the presidential elections held in Azerbaijan, embassy of France chairing EU told APA.
The statement says that the European Union notes the efforts made to hold better elections, amendments made to the Electoral Code taking into consideration some of the recommendations of Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights and Venice Commission.
