Some violations were fixed during the 15 October presidential elections in Azerbaijan at polling stations of Sabail district of Baku, Nikolay Meyner, representative of the World Net of Election Observers (WNEO), told Trend News on 15 October.
For instance, detail information about all presidential candidates were not provided at polling stations 8, 12 and 30 and members of constituency commissions even interfered in the voting process. “There was a fact when an elector did not understand note in Latin alphabet and member of the commissions tried to assist him, though they did not have relevant right,” Meyner said.
Violations were observed in the process of finger inking. “We observed that many voters came to the polling stations which they were not to. Perhaps, they were misinformed,” he said. /Trend/
