“Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP) admits the fact of Ilham Aliyev’s reelection and the party considers it expedient to continue its constructive opposition strategy,” says the statement made at the meeting of ADP’s Management Board. According to the statement, ADP is ready for political dialogue with the authorities for the sake of solution of national problems, development of political relations and improvement of election experience.

The party calls on all political forces to demonstrate solidarity and reach mutual understanding for maintaining state independence and Azerbaijan’s democratization.
“ADP calls on the head of state to fulfill all the international commitments, deepen political-economic reforms, restore Azerbaijan’s international influence, achieve fair division of the social welfare, eliminate poverty and unemployment, end corruption, make efforts to solve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in line with the national interests, take measures to hold forthcoming local and parliamentary elections meeting international standards.
