Secretary General of Council of Europe congratulates Ilham Aliyev

Secretary General of the Council of Europe (CE) Terry Davis congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his re-election as President of Republic of Azerbaijan, a source in Azerbaijan’s Permanent Representation at the Council of Europe said to TrendNews.
The letter expressed confidence that President Ilham Aliyev will carry out further reforms and make consistent efforts in the path of democracy and that this policy will be supported by CE. The Council of Europe is prepared for further cooperation, the letter read. /Trend/
